The best of Bangladesh

I had the opportunity to spend a little over a week in Bangladesh. It is by far the worst country I have ever been to. It made me long to be somewhere civilized.....like Afghanistan. But I think this picture captures a positive view of the country.

The bit you mentioned about the dead bodies surprises me. I had no idea Bangladesh was like that.

Thanks for sharing, I may have underestimated just how bad Bangladeshi's have it.

One day on a drive we saw a dead bodies laying along side the road. The person had been hit by a car. We saw this 2 or 3 times during this drive. People just stepped over them. No one picks them up or moves them. They stay until the family claims them or animals carry them off. I saw a mother begging for money and lazily waving flies off her son (who was either sleeping or dead, I'm not sure). Life is cheap there and the people treat it that way. At least in Afghanistan there was a hint of humanity.

What makes Bangladesh worse than Afghanistan?
