It replaces a "real" one, that had seats shaped like football helmets and a grumpy barber always complaining about something, but it's easy on the eye and a great place to spend a Saturday morning.

Comment by Carl Monster on January 28, 2013 at 11:52am Mike, the town never had a daily, only a weekly, which is long history.
I was reading a free newspaper from across the river that covers our area; happy to see the press release I sent them about a book our Historic Preservation Society just published appearing in it. Doesn't get more local than that. The barber put Sponge Bob on the tv for the kids waiting for a cut.
Comment by Mike Wisbrock on January 28, 2013 at 11:27am Does it have the Local Daily, Carl, or do y'all get your news from CNN?
Comment by Carl Monster on January 28, 2013 at 11:13am ha ha!
Comment by Davis on January 28, 2013 at 9:21am I used to go to a barber shop LONG ago. Nowadays no one ever notices whether I need a haircut or when I get a haircut (except for my wife, of course!)
