Getting back into practice - should be able to eliminate those fly-aways and bring the group down by half.

well obviously not during a given string. :/ But yeah - to say I need to spend some practice time with it, is an understatement. I've only run ~50 rounds through it in the current set up.

No, I should do that just to confirm my sight alignment if nothing else. I've also been futzing with the adjustable trigger - finally think I have it where I want it, but getting used to the break is fun.

Thanks. I'll work on it next chance I get. I need to do some more dryfire and breathing practice. Competition form for this event is one handed shooting only, which is very foreign to me.

I miss the peep sight on my rifle, where I can see everything I need to at once. Better to focus on the sight alignment and hope for the best?

1.25" groups at 10 meters is not bad - I would not say impressive. Certainly not competitive level, but it's tracking my progress getting back into form after a long hiatus. And pistol was never really my strong suit to begin with. So I'm reasonably pleased, with notes of what to work on.

That looks impressive. Is it?

The nature of the work doesn't bother me, other than it's not what I trained for (I have a degree in law). What's bothering me is the fact that while I live with my fiancee, she works a 9-5 and I have to do 5 nights a week most days. This means we're like passing ships and I don't get to see…See More
