Moonset Over Bruxelles

Major Milestone. Let it be known that on Thursday, December 1, 2016, I sold the one work, "Moonset Over Bruxelles," with which I vowed never to part since its creation in 1994 -- a mixed-media illustration inspired by deep wounds in 1967 that left indelible scars that shaped the rest of my life. The mold of torture was broken, however, on Thanksgiving Day 2009 when I forgave my father. The sale of this work yesterday is a formality -- the signed contract that documents the extinguished flames of a fiery furnace through the weapon of forgiveness.
