1957 Gillette Blue Tip Safety Razor w Blades
RICHARDS RAZORS; MAKE ME AN OFFER I CAN'T REFUSE!

1957 "MINT" Gillette Super Speed, Blue Tip including 2 NOS packs of vintage blades. This safety
razor is in "MINT" condition, although it does have a couple of small scratches on the upper
handle (PLEASE SEE PICS) it was made by Gillette Safety Razor Co. Gillette Super Speed razor with
blue tip, mild beard. TTO knob, uses regular double edge blades.

The handle doesn't show any tarnish; as is common with the aluminum handles, and the razor
head is clean and free of any brassing or plating loss and shows no dings and wear. The blue
tip exhibits no paint loss as well. This razor is a "MINT" collectible and/or would make a great
daily shaver. The doors twist to open easily to exchange blades. The razor has been thoroughly
scrubbed, cleaned, boiled and finally polished and most likely hasn't seen use in decades.

1957 Gillette Superspeed blue tip double edge safety razor. This razor was a part of the mild,
medium and aggressive series with the blue tip being the mild version. These are great lightweight
shavers with an aluminum handle and a painted blue tip. I believe 1959 may have been the last
year this series was produced. This razor is in perfect working and shaving condition some 55 or
more years later and should continue to work for a lifetime with proper care.

Gillette built these babies to sell blades so they are built tough and they are also great pieces
of American history that shave better than any gimmicky 5 blade nonsense available today.

Terms of Sale:
When I describe an object as 'VINTAGE' or 'ANTIQUE' they will have the typical wear and tear you
would expect with an older piece. Light scratches, scuffing & crazing and such like would be
expected as opposed to a NEW condition. If an item is in MINT condition I will say so. If an item
has any major issues - dents, deep marks, stains or heavy scratches etc. I will bring these to your
attention in my description. All sales final.

A Poem by some one that I knowTake nothing lightlyBy Bjorn FaknamTake nothing lightly. No vain promise give. Hold your honor tightly, In the one life we live.Do not throw trust away, Whether in you or from you. Live up to it today, In everything you do.Look with respect. Follow honor to the letter. Use the courtesy you expect. Nay, treat them better. No matter what gifts you were given, You are never above yourself. By whatever cause you are driven, Put yourself on the back shelf. Those around…See More

Liam replied to Liam's discussion Moving towards my first muscle up
"Yes I agree, unfortunately I don't have anything to record myself with. I managed my first poor quality reps the other day which I am thrilled about but my maximum reps of pull ups has fallen significantly in the process (from 12 - 15 down to…"
