1930-1940 Star Safety Razor w NOS Blades (4)

1930-1940 Star Safety Razor w NOS Blades
RICHARDS RAZORS; MAKE ME AN OFFER I CAN'T REFUSE!

1930-1940 Star Safety Razor w NOS Blade, Made in USA by the American Safety
Razor Company. This razor is similar to a Gillette 1940's One-Piece solid
guard bar, it is in MINT condition with absolutely no wear. This razor is a
gold-tone Star 3-Piece razor in MINT condition. Here you have a great vintage
Safety Razor that comes with 2 Original NOS unopened Silver Star razor blades.

The razor has NO surface scratches and it is shiny as the day it was made.
It is approx. 3 1/4" long. Very nice razor for you to add to your collection,
the razor is in MINT, NOS condition. Please see the pictures as they are
part of the description.

In the post-war era, the blades were advertised as being so sharp and
smooth that you'd not know a blade was loaded. They were an early stainless
steel blade, uncoated, from ASR. Duridium is a trade name for 404B Stainless.
It appears ASR stopped using the word Duridium in 1953. The Silver Star blades
continued to be produced until at least 1960.

expected as opposed to a NEW condition. If an item is in MINT condition I will say so. If an item
has any major issues - dents, deep marks, stains or heavy scratches etc. I will bring these to your
attention in my description. All sales final.
