Wrestling Fight Club

This group is for anyone interested in the sport of wrestling, whether you wrestled in school or are just a fan and want to learn.  People say it's a dying sport but the popularity of MMA has really brought home the importance of wrestling as a skillset that every man needs, especially anyone interested in martial arts in general.  Hopefully this can facilitate discussion and people looking for training partners in their area

International Judo Federation, that is

Comment by Regular Joe on November 19, 2014 at 12:29pm

The Internal Judo Federation sent out an email to all of its members and affiliates confirming its position that ranked Judo competitors (ex: top level national athletes, olympians, etc) are not allowed to compete in other grappling-oriented events, such as BJJ, wrestling, MMA, etc. This is causing a lot of controversy since, for example, that would mean that Ronda Rousey can't defend her UFC title, or guys like the Ribeiro Bros or Jacare can't compete in the BJJ Mundials, ADCC or Metamoris. Big news. Lots of controversy. People getting their panties in a bunch. http://www.bjjee.com/bjj-news/international-judo-federation-prohibi...

Teachers' Club (for men in Education)

Virtual staff room for visionary teachers of every discipline. This is a good place for educators to discuss their collective role in society--particularly in regards to their duty as role models for young men. What does it mean to be a male role model for young boys in the classroom? How can we serve them best? See More

Manly Character

A discussion about what it means to be manly on the inside. We can participate in all the manly activities we desire and still be a coward. Men are involved in a variety of careers and hobbies that differ greatly, but we can all still be great men.See More
