Selecting a belt?

A little background...I am not normally a decent dresser. I've been a jeans and t-shirt guy most of my life, and have only recently started wearing dress shirt, slacks, and ties to work as our new CEO has different expectations of his management team.In fact, the shoes I am wearing right now are the first shoes I have ever paid more than $25 for in my life.So, I don't have a lot of experience in selecting a good wardrobe.
