I worked like a dog for nearly 2 hours today installing landscaping around our neighborhood pool. It felt so invigorating and masculine to be sweating like crazy and shirtless. It is a shame more…Continue

I just heard something that I could not believe. A high school track coach in CT was fired because he let some of his team members work out on the track shirtless. Girls were sharing the track and it…Continue

I just witnessed a fantastic expression of freedom. I was driving home on the
highway, and a Chrysler Sebring convertible was in front of me. The guy behind
the wheel was on the phone. No sooner had I thought to myself, "If I had a
convertible, I'd make it a rule to drive shirtless when the top is down," than I
see the guy put down the phone, grab the neck of his red T-shirt and pull it off
at 55 miles per hour! For me, that's a defining gesture of being a man. It was
inspiring. I pulled up beside him, honked the horn and gave him a thumbs up.
He replied with a wave and continued to enjoy his bare-chested drive.
I thought it would have been anti-climactic for me to strip in my little sedan,
so I waited patiently to get home and lose the shirt. How fortunate was I to
get to see that!

Comment by Josh LM on February 27, 2013 at 4:26pm It´s quite normal for me to work shirtless during summertime over here in Germany: roofing, doing construction or yard work. It feels more manly and it seems to be more productive.
Comment by Harry Haulover on January 15, 2013 at 10:00pm I took a four hour road trip on Thursday. Lost the shirt as soon as I got my breakfast to go. At the rest stop halfway, I stopped for a smoke and a bathroom break. The French Canadian parked next to me gave me a cursory look. I walked to the picnic area and enjoyed one cigarette, used the restroom and ambled back to the car. It was a fantastic drive.
Comment by Robecru on October 25, 2012 at 2:51pm I have to admit, I've never been one to take my shirt off and I've often been jealous of the ones who do. I felt I never had the good looking body to do it. Now that I have back hair it's even less. It's a confidence thing I know. There are plenty of fit/muscled men who go shirtless but I have to admire the 600lb + guy who's shirtless and barefoot at a pool or beach. Proud of his size and showing it off. Although that my repulse some people, you have to admit that is confidence. And that's what we (those who don't) need to develop so we do feel proud of ourselves; enough to be rugged...go shirtless.

Comment by Carl Monster on March 8, 2011 at 10:43am I admire Eric's cheek. I still suffer from a lifetime of negative body image, so shirtless for me is way out of my comfort zone.
That's why I joined this, lol.
