Hi all, looking for a good ground coffee for a good price (Amazon?)...any suggestions?  I hear San Francisco Bay is good, I usually drink a bold coffee, Starbucks ground mostly made in my french press.  Would appreciate any suggestions!

Cowboy Coffee is another way to enjoy your beverage of choice. My grandfather made this every morning before going to work and I can still smell it today. Here is a link to an article about cowboy coffee and how to make it.

I love coffie we drink it from daylight till dark. ill drink coffie befor bed. im adicted to it .i get head ack if i dont drink coffie. i like it perked my hubby likes it drip.

Ergh, that's what I meant - stove top espresso maker. Make sure to get a stainless steel one. So much more durable than the cheap aluminum ones, and only a few bucks more.

Peter, thanks I'll take a look see if I can find a good one.  I recently saw a stovetop espresso maker as well, looks a bit like the percolator in shape but much smaller.  I'll look for both, since getting rid of my keurig I have room.  I've heard good things about Turkish coffee as well, very strong and the stovetop Turkish coffee maker is an interesting shape.

I use the stovetop percolator, and love it. I do a fine grind, or I try to. could probably be finer. still have to figure that out. I have a simple grinder, but I know I love a 'Turkish' grind when it's available. It's so much sweeter that way. And stovetop gives just the right strength. Do it!

Any ideas for manual coffee maker as an alternative to my french press?  I still like it but want to try new ways to brew.  May try cold brewing or the hourglass style, or even a simple stovetop percolator.  Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Can anyone comment on the quality of the Arbuckle's Coffee on the 50 stocking stuffer list on AOM?  I like bold coffees such as Starbucks and am looking for something new.  Any thoughts would be welcomed!

I bought an AeroPress late last week. If you have a good burr grinder, a tea kettle, and you tend to brew in small batches, you can't go wrong with this small $25 investment. It really produces an amazing cup!
