Here's the journal that I made for myself to test the new materials. Its a double wide (196 pp) 5 x 3.5" half bound with a horizontal elastic. Points to anyone who can identify the map. (also pictured is a black Levenger fountain pen my wife gave me for our wedding)

I think it's Rome, Italy.
Btw: I like the journal. More pictures are always welcome, also because they look better than the images currently used on your website.

Ding! Ding! We have winner! Rome it is.

Thanks for the compliment, I'll post more pictures as I complete books with the new materials.

The large book, approximately 5.5"x8". This is a custom job, with three markers and a horizontal closure. Pen for scale (Levenger Truewriter Classic).

This shows how the small (3.5"x5") book fits in a normal shirt pocket. I have a dressy white point collar shirt with a smaller pocket where the book doesn't quite fit, but all the rest of my shirts take the book with ease. Its also quite slim, so it doesn't feel like a paper weight in the pocket. A pen fits easily as well.

Here's a size comparison between the two books. The pencil (Rotring 600) is there for scale.
