Permalink Reply by Jack Bauer on November 16, 2012 at 11:59am I rather like Shane's definition. Not sure its one anybody actually uses ... but it makes sense. Most people use the terms to describe a political ideology rather than a specific thought process ... like whether one makes or responds more to emotional arguments or rational arguments. I think I've toyed with the concepts, though I hadn't crystallized it quite like Shane has.
The "mindset" definition actually might have an even larger gender gap than the "ideology" definition, though -- which is interesting.

Permalink Reply by Rick Shelton on November 16, 2012 at 3:22pm I've said this before but I think it bears repeating. "There ain't no such thing as a free lunch." In science this is a truism, you can't get something for nothing, in living someone always has to pay in one form or another or no one gets anything and what you have will be taken away from you.
