Oh, what a contrast this shows, between leaders.

Wow!

However, I'm going to be fair.  Lest I be viewed as overly partisan, Obama also inherited a lousy economy (but not as bad as the one left by Carter) and it is turning around.  Slowly, but decidedly turning around.

Well, no. Inflation (A little better than 2.6 at the moment) is still currently bigger than the rate of growth. Thus net/net, the economy is actually still moving in a downward direction.

Real GDP growth Q4 of 2011: 0.73%

I believe that is a positive number.

did do incredibly good things for the economy within his first term

I take serious issue with this. The economy was downright awful for the lion's share of Reagan's first term because of Volcker's bitter inflation medicine.

Yeah.

Medicine should be tasty.

Metaphorically speaking, an anti-inflationary monetary contraction is not the kind of medicine administered orally.

People are what they are & it is unreasonable to expect them to be otherwise. Reagan was elected because he knew that. All things considered, it is better for Americans to elect men like Reagan, but it's unreasonable they will do so because it is the reasonable thing to do...

Yeah, well, they didn't go to Harvard, hence the power tools-

Uh, Bush has a graduate degree from Harvard and his BA is from Yale. Hardly salt of the earth.

Reagan was a far more credible cowboy than Bush ever was. It was like John Wayne versus Yosemite Sam.

Wrong about the staged shoots, for Reagan anyway. He loved clearing brush on his ranch. Caught a lot of flak for it as well.

How can I get a good workout?

I primarily work on my legs, but I want to gain more physical strength. I don't have a gym membership, so I do everything at home. However, I do have a pair of 10 pound dumbbells and ankle weights, and a 25 pound dumbbell I use for sumo, pile, and wide squats. It's somewhat heavy and it works my lower back so it does the job. My workout consists of:10-20 pushups10-20 single leg pushups10-30 body squats5-10 pile squats5-10 sumo squats5-10 wide squats10 bird dogs10 weight bird dogs10 weight…See More
