Teen want's to keep her unborn baby while her parents want to force her to have an abortion. I do not believe those on the left are actually for choice like they say they are. They are pro abortion so I am assuming they will keep quiet in this matter. I'm not talking about the people who post here. I'm talking about the loud vocal pro-choice leftists in our country. Those women who claim to be for women's rights will never in a million years stand up for this young woman's right to keep her child. They will remain quiet on this matter.

Pro choice does not and should not mean this. It means that teen has the choice to keep the child or not.
Permalink Reply by Titus Techera on February 18, 2013 at 11:18am I sure hope some national voices on the side that favors abortion will take the opportunity to show how reasonable they are. It is really getting ugly.
The last national hysteria bout on abortion ended up with the DNC trying to prove that Mr. Romney & the GOP hate women.
I even heard some CNN guy try to talk sense into the DNC Chaircritter. She was admirably adamant that lying about a press article is justified because it says the truth about the GOP & its candidate. I believe 'fake but accurate' is the term of art, after Mr. Rather's hit piece of 2004.
The reporter seemed to me weak, personifying liberalism, & the Chaircritter tough-minded, personifying the left. Compare that with the way the GOP immediately threw out that guy with the weird talk about abortion not resulting in rape. Sometimes it strikes me that the GOP has better liberals than the Dems...
Permalink Reply by Erg on February 18, 2013 at 11:25am I think the "national hysteria" was the concern that Republican Congressman simply did not take rape, excuse me, "legitimate rape" seriously. The DNC didn't have to spin that any more than there was any need to spin 47%. When you have weak gaffe's, both sides spin. On the Dem side witness the GHW Bush can't use a grocery scanner thing. With legitimate rape, there is a saying in the business that if your opponent is hanging himself don't get in the way.
Permalink Reply by Titus Techera on February 18, 2013 at 11:28am I hope you are joking, this is part of your elaborate sense of irony, pointing out that liberals do not even know that the man was not a Rep. of either party, but merely a candidate who made that comment at some time after the primary, but before the election. The party, despite the primary, treated the guy like a leper. Whence the association then? Ask the DNC.
As for the Mr. Bush, Sr., that was a flat out lie, but a persuasive lie. I do not mind the use of lies in politics, although it is vile & petty; I somewhat resent that in talking about politics, however.

Permalink Reply by Titus Techera on February 18, 2013 at 3:53pm You mean Mr. Obama's apology tour? Or am I mistaking it for something else?
Permalink Reply by Erg on February 18, 2013 at 5:51pm What exact proportion of liberals do you think make up this "loud vocal pro-choice leftists" that openly and actively support forced abortions?
Permalink Reply by Paul_of_TX on February 18, 2013 at 12:28pm My point is that they will be silent on this because they are not pro-choice they are pro-abortion. I don't really care what percentage it is. It doesn't take a rocket surgeon to see through the lie that is pro-choice.
As for the moderates, less liberal and the rest of the regular folk who claim they are pro-choice they are in swell company. Other notable pro-choice people in history are those in the South who didn't own slaves but supported the right to own and enslave other humans, and lots of Germans who went along with the killing of millions of untermentions; they like didn't you know support it but you know who are they to say killing a human is wrong you know.
Ok, want to get this straight.
We have a girl with worthless parents that she doesn't even live with. They find out she is preggers and want to force her into an abortion. She is fighting to keep the baby.
The facts really aren't important, it is just that you are not immidiatly seeing pro-choice people take to the streets in huge support for this girl, so therefor they must be on the side of the parents. And you take this from intuition based on how you feel about abortion and not from anything silly like actually going out and talking to anybody who is moderate, less liberal or just fucking pro-choice. Percentages aren't important, what is important is how you feel about this. And because you feel like abortion is bad, anyone who might be for abortion in one case must be for it in an absolutely absurd extreme case.
Therefor nazi slavetraders aborting everything up in this biatch
Just man the fuck up and say you hate all people who are pro-choice. We've had several threads on the subject, nothing is going to change, esp from a story as absurd as this one.
Permalink Reply by Paul_of_TX on February 18, 2013 at 12:45pm I would settle for NOW to come out in support of this young woman or some of the media outlets to come out and demonize the parents. We both know that will not happen.
