So the moral of this thread is that if you don't pick a default for all situations that is either fully conservative or fully liberal, you are a lazy coward unable to pick sides because you refuse to get informed.

The moral of this thread? No, not at all. Though it is true that even a perfunctory look into people and human nature, makes it pretty clear why about a third of the population end up being unable to make declarative statement, judgement calls or decisive positions on political issues. Something politicians have long taken advantage of.

"I kinda thought that the purpose of obtaining information wasn't to reinforce the opinion you had before the information, but to help you decide the optimal path post information which could be a deviation from being pure conservative or liberal."

No, you didn't. And there is absolutely nothing you have ever said on this forum that would ever give anyone the impression that you have ever for one second of your life ever thought that in any authentic way. We have seen you twist logic and yourself like a pretzel with spina bifida, suffering a cognitive dissonance that only comedians can truly express in it's full scope as you've tried to make the information before you fit into the paradigm and narrative you desperately wished it supported.

But hey. You can take comfort in knowing that you have the full support of such complex thinkers as David E.E. Erectile Dysfunction, the living embodiment of the institutionalized betamale

So through all of that blathering, are you in fact saying that gathering information should only be done to reinforce pre-existing ideas?

ALso, do you masturbate over a mirror so you can watch your own asshole?

 Should, no.

ALso, do you masturbate over a mirror so you can watch your own asshole?

Yes. Henry Rollins started a trend.
