Post the political cartoon that best reflects a valid argument that you are on the other side of, but which you have to admit is a great argument for the other side. No making fun, this is about giving props to the other argument.

I find political cartoons to be a way to *circumvent* good arguments with cheap shot. There can be some that make a valid point, but the medium doesn't lend itself to it.
I disagree. As an art form, political cartoons have been a massively important component of the public dialogue. They appeal viscerally, but they require the reader to interpret.
I'm on the fence. While they usually make a very convincing point, political cartoonists can slant someone's political views simply by drawing someone in an evil, ugly, or outlandishly goofy way. There's no argument there, just a (usually successful) attempt to further embed a caricature into the reader's subconscious.
Other day I was walking in to work on a lady's laptop when she thought it was important to show me some anti-Obama, anti-health care reform editorial cartoon spouting off something about wasting money and keeping Obama in a coma.
I looked over at her, dead pan said "neat", then proceeded on with questioning about the problem at hand. Luckily she took the hint and has yet to bring that junk back up to me. It wasn't intelligent, it wasn't thought out, it was taking the irrational fears of the right, spouted off by the likes of Savage, Beck, etc that these ignorant fools take as fact. Something I find nothing redeeming about, esp as most of my friends are this way, and to keep the peace I let them go on and on until they say something so beyond stupid, ignorant and misinformed that I have to stop and correct them, yet I have to be the one that does it as respectfully as possible.
