The political interest, at least my interest politically, is how it was too hot for prime time TV until after the election when it suddenly became Ok. Like I said, I understand this to be election strategy play and is and of itself not too disturbing,  but all this stuff hitting the fan all at once, just before and just after the election, seems a bit unusual.

And the whole Lockheed thing just makes me wonder how many of the slew of companies who announced layoffs a day or two after the election were asked to hold off.

Did you miss the Cold War or something?  That's mundane non-news bulls hit.  The only reason to report it is to sensationalize it.  Big news, Iran can't shoot for s hit.  WTF cares?

Now, a General William Ward, the head of US Army Africa Command,is now in trouble for misuse of government funds.

The fact he was with Africa Command. He probably knows what happened in Benghazi, more than Petraius did.
Now Ward has something against him, to keep him silent.
