2002-2006, USMC and loved it. Was an embassy guard for most of it and had some amazing experiences!

4 years Air Force. Loved it, and would do it again if I wasn't fat now. :)

I did 5 years US Army MP, 15 months Iraq and 12 months Afghanistan. Got off active duty a month ago. No regrets other than the shrapnel in my ass when I am at the airport, lol.

I spent 5 years in the US Navy Seabees. Been deployed to Spain, Guam, Okinawa, Kuwait, Afghanistan, and Japan. Can't say that I enjoed every minute of it but I definately would do it again. In fact I'll probably go back in once I finish with my undergraduate degree.

I spent 7 years in the Air Force(73-80) and then did 20 years in the Army(82-02). I had a variety of career assignments. I would not trade it for anything. My back was broken in Nov99 and 5 operations later I was retired. If not for the injury I would still be in. The military gave me a feeling of belonging to something real I have never found in the civilian world. Good luck Stephen with West Point!

I'm soon to be a West Point cadet, starting a week from today. I'm really looking forward to the opportunities available at USMA, and I intend to give my all in service to my country. God bless my fellow brothers in arms!
