I saw this book at the bookstore this weekend, and instead of buying it, checked out the web site. WARNING: The author uses strong language to express his passion for the topic. This week's bad$*& seemed appropriate for this group. While there are advantages to our new kinder, gentler manliness, we should give props to those who have gone before us and given us the luxury of being kinder and gentler. http://www.badassoftheweek.com/millett.html

Wow! That dude was a major badass!
Reading about him gives me chills. What a patriot! I've got a new role model...
I wonder how many Chinese are suffering from Millet PSD. Good read. I especially like him getting court martialed for desertion and the CMH a few year later.
That's awesome. Here's another badass, not as well written, but bad-ass just the same. This guy killed a Kraut with a freaking longbow! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Churchill
He lived three weeks off Marmite?  goddamn

Teachers' Club (for men in Education)

This is a good place for educators to discuss their collective role in society--particularly in regards to their duty as role models for young men. What does it mean to be a male role model for young boys in the classroom? How can we serve them best? See More

The Great Debate

"Iron sharpens iron." A place for men to impact each other by debate and exchange of ideas. This is a group where no ideas are off limits. If your motto is, "I never talk about politics or religion," this group is probably not for you. A "gym" for thinkers.See More

Gday from New Zealand

Gday Im in my 30's and reside in Auckland. I found this site by accident but love it already.I'm into Scuba (particularly wreck diving), photography, hunting, dogs and going bush (not sure what you call it but over here means going feral and living in the bush (forest) like a Neanderthal for a little while).I am also partial to a fine cigar and the occasional glass of Laphroaig 10 year old. CheersAzzaSee More
