Oh I know the Hawks well, Dr. Mudd... he is a Canadian icon (though he is american). He helped bring rock n roll to toronto and he never left.
I have meet him a few times... what a fantastic character.
I love that man.
Levon Helm, Drummer and one of the singers of The Band, is apparently on the last legs of his battle with cancer. A shame... they don't make musicians like that anymore.
Thanks William, all of the reviews I read indicated that they are the best for the price. My next move is to get a center speaker I think.
John Paul, I can't help too much with the choice of a pre-amp, but I sure do give you the thumbs up on the Polk Audio speakers. After many years of owning my Studio 10's, I'm still in love with 'em. Polks are amazing speakers.
Yippee! I just got my first turntable today, a Pro-ject Debut III. Unfortunately I missed the part where I will need a pre amp... oops. I plan on getting a pre amp to run it through a Yamaha receiver and right now I have Polk Audio TSi200 speakers. Any advice for a new comer?
Punk Rock and Soul...baby!
