Hello Frank, As Kory pointed out, you are too old to earn the youth badges but I can heartily recommend Woodbadge. This is a leadership program for adults and you earn your beads by going through much of the same things we ask the boys to do. Baden-Powell started the program shortly after establishing Boy Scouts.

Frank,  Tiger cubs is still around.  My oldest child just started in it.  Bad news about getting the Eagle awarded, once the age of 18 is reached no further advancement in BSA is possible, sorry.  But don't let that stop you from becoming active in scouting as an adult leader.  There greater rewards available by helping young boys become better men.

When I was a kid I started as a Tiger Cub (is that division still around, or was it a northwest thing? I can't find reference to it in the Wikipedia article), made it through Cub Scouts, and spent a year as a Boy Scout before I switched schools and could no longer make the meetings. Still no idea why my parents didn't go looking for a different pack for me. Lately I've been playing with the idea of challenging myself to live a year as a scout, "earn" merit badges, live by the code and the laws, etc, and eventually fulfill the requirements for Eagle, just to see if I could do it. I'd love to find a pack that would be willing to support the project and actually award me the badges, and eventually, confer Eagle Scout if I pulled it off. However, I highly doubt such a pack exists, as I'm 24, almost 25.

Hello! I'm a member of an active venturing crew and I work at scout camp during the summer. I also have this crazy dream on the back burner to spread the boy scouts to different countries. My friend and I are plotting ways to bring it to the Philippines.
