Unless we missed something...we only see Zoe as a skinjob in the very final two minutes or something.  I can see them melding the two views.  I loved the show, to be fair.  Different, but good.

Interesting, and uneven. Without going into too much detail, I say they had some moments of true excellence, and some moments of, well, not. I was most disappointed when the show was cancelled.  I thought it had great potential, and I really wanted to see the first cylon war.

 

That said, it also rewrote or violated the code established by BSG, in that it ended with the greystones inventing the skinjobs, whereas it was stated in BSG that the first five taught the machines how to become flesh.
