Had a blast, and thought I would share a photo of my feet on the crosstrees of the foremast. Fair winds, all!

"Fair point about predicting the future.  One never knows for sure but you have to plan for some stability. We don't know yet if my son is learning disabled yet.  It is one of those things where you have to wait for them to get old…"

""Gender" wasn't something easily used to describe people before you were born. It was coopted by social scientists in the 50's from linguists and entered popular usage in the 60s. The terms have been confused ever since."

"Hmmmm. I asked about collectivism not government authority. The "left" right now is trying to use government authority to impose individualism, but only for their chosen demographic. Keep it up and everyone except JB will be given their…"

"Sex and gender were not confusing for most of my 65 years.  Nor can I imagine either to have been confusing to virtually all past generations, as my personal interactions with people, some of whose ages went back to the nineteenth century, and…"

"It's not a short leash. It's holding you to the same standards we try to hold everyone to.  The political relationship between individual rights vs. government authority is murky at best. Both conservatives and liberals choosing to…"
