I just saw a Saddleback bag listed on E-bay which made some very disparaging remarks about the quality of Saddleback bags today as compared with bags of a few years ago. Since I have been thinkging…Continue

Comment by Herb Munson on November 17, 2012 at 1:35pm Just listed an extra large SBL vintage bag on eBag. This may be the last in that series of auctions. It is for one day. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Extra-Large-Saddleback-Leather-Briefcase-Ba...

Comment by Herb Munson on September 8, 2012 at 3:35pm Way back in 2005, when Saddleback was just getting started, I began to help Dave sell bags on eBay. And, starting now, Dave has given me my old job back to sell the rest of his vintage items (left over from those days that have been sitting in our warehouse) on eBay. These bags are special because a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund (JDRF) to help them develop an artificial pancreas to help my thirteen year old granddaughter Grace and others that suffer from Type 1 diabetes. First come, first serve, while they last!
Comment by Bobby on June 14, 2012 at 4:35pm I have become a saddleback addict. Since i bought my first saddleback product (Large breifcase), i have become obsessed with saddleback leather. I visit their website at least once a day. This is a really weird feeling, becuase i have never before experienced being so fascinated by material products the same way i am with saddleback. Anyone else have the same feeling? It would be great to know if i am not the only one who is experiencing this kind of fascination.
Comment by Hunter on May 23, 2012 at 9:46pm I am going to Spain for a month this summer and am looking for a Dopp Kit that can hold all of the things I need without having to go to a store and buying more stuff. Preferably a leather one and doesn't break the bank.
Comment by Ron Knapper on May 11, 2012 at 9:41pm Finally found what I think will be a great starter man bag. It's a Targus Spruce EcoSmart Mini Messenger for iPad. It is a better size than the monster bag I found in my closet to start my adventure. It is a about the size I thought I was looking for. Big enough for a small notebook, a couple of pens, Nook, sunglasses, tissues, pack of gum, some bandaids and that's about it. Minimal space for extra crud which is good, though I'll probably add some ibuprofen. One of the big benefits was a shoulder strap long enough for me (I'm 6'4"). Excited to see just how this works for me.
Comment by Brian Splash on May 10, 2012 at 2:24am l can tell you right now , l am going to use it and abuse it , it will live in the back of my 4x4 , won't move it when the dogs are in there , l will shuffle it around to fit camping gear around it . Time will tell .
Comment by Brian Splash on May 5, 2012 at 12:23am Got my bag in the mail yesterday , very solid and stiff , hope it softens quickly . Going to use it as a gym bag for the minute but l can see it being a great day bag if l travel .
Comment by Brian Splash on April 24, 2012 at 7:22pm Just ordered a briefcase today , it will be my first saddleback product , based on how good the item is , l may get more of there products .
