I should have started my searching here first! I had been trying to replace a bag my wife had purchased at Restoration Hardware years ago. They no longer make it though. I tried every search term I could think of until I discovered "contractors bag". I found just what I was looking for.

Cooking is a Timeless and Classic activity that I love to do.
First you start with planning your attack. What will you need? Who and how many will be there? Maybe look in a book to help with some ideas? Next you will be hunting for your ingredients. Whether you go to the store or a farmers market, (maybe you actually hunt or fish) you need to get fresh items to make sure your meal is a memoriable one. Once these items are in place, you need to make sure you time everything perfectly to come together at the exact time to present and eat. Whether it takes you a half hour, 2 hours or 3 days to do this, make sure that you are not rushing your meal. Too fast and things will turn out tough or underdone. Take your time. Be prepared with a bottle of wine, beer or your favorite drink to enhance this meal. Finally enjoy this. For some men this is the last thing they get.

Maxpedition is nice, but a little too military/technical for my tastes. That and some of the countries I travel too, it would cause me to stick out more.

I had a very nice black leather briefcase like this (well ... nowhere as nice as this, really...) but somewhere between the divorce and then the fiasco with the girlfriend I "misplaced" it. A shame. But Saddleback may just be the answer!

It costs anywhere from $22 to $35 before shipping. I did look at the Maxpedition, and the build quality (from the reviews) seams to be the same.
