A while ago AOM had a trivia group that played a game where one asked a question and who ever got the answer first was allowed to pick the next trivia question. Maybe we could do that with riddles in this thread?

I will start it off.

A beast of iron lies in a dark tunnel. It is deadly but can only attack when pulled back. What is it?

Very good idea! I haven't any idea. Is the 'beast' larger or smaller than a 5 yard sphere?

does it have to do with a gun?

An Arrow.

I can't get the reply thing to work so I will reply here. It has to do with a gun and no it isnt an arrow.

Hmmm... people are ovethinking this one. Its a bullet. I'll give it to Will for saying bullet in his post (dont have time to follow this today)

Hmmm.... I always overthink these things. A bullet is never made of iron and the bullet is never pulled back to attack. Still, Will has it!

My hand will get bitten of by the Mouth of Truth (in the next ..... minutes).

And then to think I was drunk. Thankfully this one was logical.

All right: A man lives on the 50th floor of a skyscraper. When he leaves for work, he rides the elevator down to ground level. When he returns, he rides the elevator to the 47th floor, and then takes the stairs. Except when it's raining; when it's raining he rides the elevator to the 50th floor.

Why?

Are the stairs outside?

Nope

He's a midget. He can't reach past the 47th floor button except for the days it's raining and he can reach with his umbrella.

He should carry the frickin' umbrella every day.

I think you've got it!

New Poems

A Poem by some one that I knowTake nothing lightlyBy Bjorn FaknamTake nothing lightly. No vain promise give. Hold your honor tightly, In the one life we live.Do not throw trust away, Whether in you or from you. Live up to it today, In everything you do.Look with respect. Follow honor to the letter. Use the courtesy you expect. Nay, treat them better. No matter what gifts you were given, You are never above yourself. By whatever cause you are driven, Put yourself on the back shelf. Those around…See More
