What do you guys think about Chris Christie? It seems that the media loves him right now and is almost preparing his 2016 run for President. I don't believe the media likes us or our positions. They…Continue

So Newt has said he will take a serious look at running for the presidency in 2012. What opinions have you regarding his chances and qualifications? On the one hand he knows his stuff through and…Continue

I was a strong supporter of Huckabee, so it was upsetting that he decided to pull out of the presidential race. Out of the current candidates I see right now I am probably going to be paying a good…Continue

Comment by Margie on Thursday Some of you guys might remember this one.
The Steeldrivers. Seemed like a good time to post it.
What's that expression Danger uses? Triad? Tripod? No. Trifecta! I think that's it, yes.
Comment by Margie on Wednesday We're experiencing a red-letter day, guys. Either that or we've entered "The Twilight Zone". The media (I mean someone other than Fox) is actually holding Obama accountable for something, anything. I liked The Five's analysis. All but Bob Beckel's, that is. lol

(It's not letting me embed, only link, sorry.)
Let's enjoy this time while we can... because you know it won't last, just like that old song goes "we may never pass this way again".
Comment by Margie on May 10, 2013 at 2:34pm The left doesn't know what to make of Senator Ted Cruz, but they know they can't stand him. They've attempted to discredit him and reduce him to a mere caricature. Typical. Even some on the right have expressed their disapproval.

Not me, I like him. Even moreso now that the left's disdain for him is showing.
This one goes out to my hispanic (yes, he's hispanic regardless of Richardson's wishes; "misunderstanding", yeah right) Republican brother.
Just a little group from the south of France who perform in Spanish, otherwise known as The Gipsy Kings.
Comment by Margie on May 7, 2013 at 1:54pm Dick Harpootlian tried to make nice with regard to his recent remarks about Governor Nikki Haley. He said that she needed to be sent "back to wherever the hell she came from". Personally, I thought his clarification, or attempted apology if that's what it was, was even more offensive than his original comment. And it wasn't his first nasty attack.

Good thing his tenure as party chairman is over. Maybe now he can go back to that rock he crawled out from under.
Comment by Margie on April 22, 2013 at 2:19pm May God bless our Bostonian friends as they attempt to regain a sense of normalcy in their lives. And may He comfort those who have suffered injury or loss of loved ones.
Comment by Margie on April 8, 2013 at 2:23pm So is the science settled or not?
“Over the past 15 years air temperatures at the Earth’s surface have been flat while greenhouse-gas emissions have continued to soar,” The Economist magazine writes. “The world added roughly 100 billion tons of carbon to the atmosphere between 2000 and 2010. That is about a quarter of all the CO2 put there by humanity since 1750.” Yet, no more warming.

No matter, Sasquatch never fell for it. It wasn't difficult. He'd considered the empirical data, certainly, but even more importantly, he'd regarded the character of the policy-pushers. The latter was the result of an up-close-and-personal encounter he'd had, several years ago, with a couple of these charlatans.
Needless to say, it wasn't pleasant.
Comment by Margie on April 8, 2013 at 12:45pm Did you hear about this one... MSNBC host claims children belong to the community, not parents.

It's infuriating. She actually sounds insane to me.
(I tried posting the video itself but it didn't work.)
I half expect the next endorsement of this ideology to be 'You didn't birth that'.
Comment by Margie on April 5, 2013 at 12:36pm Hey hey now. You GD guys. Take it easy on Dr. Krauthammer. The man is a friggin' genius. Btw, I didn't realize he was disabled until a few months back myself. I saw him in a wheelchair on cspan. And he's still better looking than James Carville. I have no idea how Mary Matalin puts up with him. They do make fun commercials together though.
Comment by Margie on April 2, 2013 at 12:40pm Apparently, New York is the least free state in the union. Is anybody surprised? CA's not much better though. I still think if the dems could figure out how to impose a sneeze tax, they would. It's depressing.
So as not to leave on a sour note, how 'bout some fun?
Those ears. lol
Comment by Margie on March 26, 2013 at 11:51am Just in case you missed it, Jim Carrey thought it'd be funny to mock and denigrate the memory of American Icon, Charlton Heston. He ridiculed him, said his "movies are no longer in demand" and even called into question his manhood. See for yourself.
But guess what, I think Charlton Heston saw it coming.
Good call, Mr. Heston.
