What do you guys think about Chris Christie? It seems that the media loves him right now and is almost preparing his 2016 run for President. I don't believe the media likes us or our positions. They…Continue

Best person to watch after Huckabee's withdrawal?

I was a strong supporter of Huckabee, so it was upsetting that he decided to pull out of the presidential race. Out of the current candidates I see right now I am probably going to be paying a good…Continue

For those who missed it, here's Dr. Benjamin Carson speaking at last week's Nat'l Prayer Breakfast. He's a pediatric neurosurgeon at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
The man has a very inspirational life story, too. It dawned on me while watching this that I'd seen his life story, several years ago, in the movie "Gifted Hands" starring Cuba Gooding, Jr.

Is it true that the concept of freedom has become a hard sell?
Maybe we just have the wrong spokesmen. :)

That "ancient" document, the Constitution, seems to be the talk of the town lately. I came across a couple of good articles recently and thought I'd share them. The first is an easy read written by Thomas Sowell, who's quite wonderful. http://www.nationalreview.com/articles/270584/constitution-matters-... And the second is a bit lengthy, but definitely a worthwhile read, too. http://www.imaginativeconservative.org/2013/01/giving-up-on-constit...
Btw, I have it on good authority that Sasquatch was around during the tumultuous and hard-won founding of this country. He had a little something to say upon the Constitution's ratification.

These guys were on Greta Van Susteren's "Last Call" segment last night. It turns out they do a lot for the military troops, not just entertaining but hospital visits even. They performed at one of the Inauguration Balls because as one of them said, "we'll do anything for the troops". (Emphasis on anything). I got a kick out of that. lol Good guys!

Btw, for those not familiar with it, I highly recommend his Jesse Stone movie series. I've seen three of them. They're excellent.

MSNBC has really gone off the deep end now. Yes, I realize they didn't have that far to go. Lawrence O'Donnell is now calling for Tom Selleck to step down from the NRA. I didn't know it before last night, but Tom Selleck is a Board Member, has been for several years. O'Donnell wants to shame him off the organization. Maybe he's finally losing it, but perhaps the only solution at this point is for the Vatican to sent someone to perform an exorcism. :)

Once again, Michael Moore is spewing vitriolic hate at some fancy schmancy awards banquet.
http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Hollywood/2013/01/09/michael-moore-aid... It wasn't that long ago that he made a comment about conservatives being a bunch of neanderthals, too.
Didn't anybody ever tell him not to mess with Sasquatch? http://youtu.be/O9Pt72pu4vQ

From the Fly on the Wall Files:

[the President and Speaker discussing fiscal woes]

Boehner: "Clearly we have a health-care problem, which is about to get worse with Obamacare. But, Mr. President, we have a very serious spending problem."

Obama: "I’m getting tired of hearing you say that." And also "we don't have a spending problem".

My keen intuition tells me that those aren't the words of someone who's willing to negotiate on spending. I actually feel a great deal of compassion for the Speaker. It can't be easy dealing with the unrelenting, never-satiated machine that is Team Obama.
