Shave of the Day
Gentlemen,
This seems to be a popular thread on many of the wet-shaving forums, and I thought it would be nice to do this here as well. Here's how it works: just reply to this thread posting the hardware(razor, blade, and brush) and software (Soap/cream, aftershave) that you used for that day's shave. This would be a good way for those new to the idea of "Shaving like your Grandpa" to see what products are out there and a good encouragement for the rest of us!

Re-purposed margin tub as a bowl.
EBay procured badger brush
Clubman after shave.
I'm winning the war against the high priced cartridge razors and I'm getting a close shave!
I use one side of the blade for the first pass and the 2nd and 3rd are done against the grain with the other edge. I keep this same pattern up for 4 shaves and then install a new razor blade.

I've been "programming" the Wal-Mart computer to stock WS blades. Each time I go to WM I buy a pack. I started this after it took them almost 3 months to re-supply!
It is getting harder to other items. WM sells soap, but no brush. No one sells the hardware. CVS sells blades but they are over $5 for 10!
