Ah Philosophy, the search for the great answers of life itself and the greater meaning of it all. I've read quite a few comments since the AoM community was founded, and it would appear to me that there are quite a few armchair-philosophers out there.

I propose to use this forum to encourage intelligent discussion among us. In this spirit, I'll be posing a daily philosophical question in the Discussion section. I'm looking forward to the coming discussions.

hey guys. I guess i'm going to be one of the youngest out here at only a month away from sixteen now. However philosophical questions have always had my interest and I hope to be able to share some ideas out here.

Hey guys. I'm a 19 year old neuroscience student from NZ. I also study classics and philosophy in my spare time and am beginning to take up writing as a hobby. I'm particularly interested in political philosophy and metaphysics. I'm looking forward to getting involved in these discussions and expanding my knowledge.

Hello everyone. I am an 25 year old entrepreneur in real estate investment. I also enjoy moonlighting as an armchair philosopher. I am always interested in a good philosophical discussion, and the opportunity for me to learn, and share what I have learned.

Hello all! I am a student of archaeology and anthropology. Thus, there's quite a lot of philosophy involved in my studies. I am looking to learn more about social philosophies and materiality; particularly those works written past 2000 as most of the archaeology theory books I have been reading go up until 2006. If you have any suggestions, please contact me.

Hey, guys. I just discovered the possibility of joining a group, and this one seems to suit most of my needs. I'm an 18 year old "arm-chair" philosopher with plans to major in it when I go to university next year. Nice to be here.

"I said,, "for some schools" not that school. Actually, by that statement I was hoping to stimulate a bit of creative thinking about the sovereignty and goodness of God in such situations."

Teachers' Club (for men in Education)

Virtual staff room for visionary teachers of every discipline. This is a good place for educators to discuss their collective role in society--particularly in regards to their duty as role models for young men. What does it mean to be a male role model for young boys in the classroom? How can we serve them best? See More

The Great Debate

"Iron sharpens iron." A place for men to impact each other by debate and exchange of ideas. This is a group where no ideas are off limits. If your motto is, "I never talk about politics or religion," this group is probably not for you. A "gym" for thinkers.See More

Gday Im in my 30's and reside in Auckland. I found this site by accident but love it already.I'm into Scuba (particularly wreck diving), photography, hunting, dogs and going bush (not sure what you call it but over here means going feral and living in the bush (forest) like a Neanderthal for a little while).I am also partial to a fine cigar and the occasional glass of Laphroaig 10 year old. CheersAzzaSee More
