born and raised in this state.  grew up in the western end and i now live on the eastern side (Raleigh area).  i don't know what "Central North Carolinian barbecue" is.  Lexington style is considered the mix of Eastern and Western style.

Eastern style being pepper and vinegar.  Western is thick, sweet, dark red, tomato based and is superior.

Well, when I moved here to North Carolina, I was skeptical. I didn't think it would be good. I thought it strange. Never thought it would be tolerable. I thought, "How can this be done without thick sauce?" However... I have to admit that I have grown to truly love Central North Carolinian barbecue.

Hey, for those of y'all somewhat near Greensboro, this is a Choir I'm in. This is our annual fundraiser.

This is a GREAT way to score some megapoints with the spouse!!!!  Seriously!!!

Moving to Texas. I would *not* leave the mountains of Western North Carolina and move to the FLATLANDS unless God said to move!  My son and my daughter, and their spouses, will still be here, so I'll have ties to NC!

Hey guys. Check out "Music in the Streets" on Main street in Washington. The street gets blocked off from traffic and local musicians and entertainers set up live all up and down the street and perform. It's a lot of fun and you'll see some amazing talents on display. The first one this year will April 13th and the music starts around 6 P.M.

I don't live there now, but my girlfriend goes to college at High Point, and I plan on moving there when I get older!
