Introduction to the Mustache Group

Mustaches have been a controversial part of history, they have been banned by kings, forbidden by employers and used as a form of protest. The popularity of mustaches has had its peeks and valleys but today we find ourselves at the lowest of the lows. Somewhere in time mustaches have fallen from the grace in our society. It has become an eyesore, an embarrassment and most disturbingly a joke. In the past a mustache was a symbol of being a man. It showed the world yes I have reached male adulthood and I am proud of it. We need to bring this back! This is why I bring you the Mustache Group. Lets restore mustaches to there former glory days. This is not just a group but a grass roots cultural movement. A revolution if you will. The Mustache Group is the beginning of this revolution. So let the hair on your upper lip grow and VIVA LA MUSTACHE!!

You are correct Oguzhan, you can't "reply" to a comment. You can only "reply" on discussions. See above for the "Add a Discussion" link to start a discussion if needed.

Hello William, I couldn't figure out how to reply your comment (maybe it isn't an option to reply) The Clubman Wax is very good for everytypes of staches. It has different colours and it has a fine toothed comb in it. You can use it cavalierly.

Have a nice day.

Hi brothers... I recently decided to grow a mustache. I want to find a good wax that look natural and hold everything in place without look like plastic or paraffin… any recommendations?

I dug this picture out the other day.  This was taken probably 13 years ago when I was still in the Navy.  the only facial hair we could have was a mustache so I sported one.  It doesn't show up too well in this one.

The universal gesture of displease was because my best friend was holding his camera and making fun of me for being on flightdeck watch, which as an E5 was something I was not supposed to have to do.  I'm not sure but I probably pissed off the watch leader sometime on Liberty.

RICHARDS RAZORS
Gillette Super Speed razor with blue tip, mild beard. TTO knob, Uses regular double edge blades.
1955 Gillette Superspeed blue tip double edge safety razor. This razor was a part of the mild, medium and aggressive series with the blue tip being the mild version. These are great lightweightshavers with an aluminum handle and a painted blue tip. I believe 1959 may have been the last year this series was produced. This razor is in perfect working and shaving condition some 50 or more years later and should continue to work for a lifetime with proper care.     The handle doesn't show any tarnish; as is common with the aluminum handles, and the razor head is clean and free of any brassing or plating loss and shows no dings and wear.  The blue tip exhibits no paint loss as well. This razor is a nice collectible and/or would make a great daily shaver. The doors twist to open easily to exchange blades.     The razor has been thoroughly scrubbed, cleaned, boiled and finally polished and most likelyhasn't seen use in decades.     Gillette built these babies to sell blades so they are built tough and they are also great pieces of American history that shave better than any gimmicky 5 blade nonsense available today.
This safety razor is in very good+ condition, as is the case,  made by Gillette Safety Razor Co.

I've just recently grown a mustache and I enjoy the way it looks and feels. Looking forward to letting it grow and trying different waxes to shape it the way I want.
