What do you think?

Do you think a mustache alone makes you look wrong? If you think you look good with it and feel comfortable, I say go for it.

There are some guys that look good with a beard, some that look good with a moustache, some that look good without facial hair, some that... you get the idea. Most of us mugs can carry off a number of different looks. You need to decide what makes you think you look like who you are.

In other words, if you think it makes you look too young, you should ask some of your trusted friends (both male and female) and solicit their opinion. If they think it makes you look "wrong", as in how you think you should look, then you have one more input.

I for one say, rock a the moustache if you want to, or go with a full beard, or be clean shaven. I decided 10 years ago to add a small beard to my moustache that I have had for 20+ years. I have experimented with a couple of different styles on the beard portion, but personally I haven't even seen my upper lip for over 20 years. My choice, and my wife is fine with it, so the two people whose opinion I care about the most like it, so that is what I stay with.

To be precise, what I sport is a Van Dyke style. OK, maybe not quite, some would call it a French Cut. Well, maybe it is a Goatee and Moustache... SIGH! I have a moustache and close cut goatee that are connected. As you can see,  just trying to describe it is not enough. You have to let people see it, in relationship to your face and hair, and even better, who know you to be able to tell if it goes with your personality.

its not something you see on younger guys here at all and thanks for the info :)
