Not really. Pretty dead place. Most my local online experience is on the #Detroit IRC channel on snoonet.org. Not much goes on here.

Hey Gents,

New to the site, and new to michigan. How's.How's it going? Do you guys ever get together, like a Michigan AoM meet?

Also, how many fly-fishermen out here

May be necroing a dead thread here, but looking for anyone interested in starting a fight club in central MI after reading:

http://www.artofmanliness.com/2014/06/23/how-to-start-a-fight-club/...

I live in Midland and would be glad to host, as long as other members are okay using my backyard instead of a garage!

40 degrees and some light rain in and around the Lansing area ... looking forward to the snow to be gone and warmer temps to be here.

My wife works from home, but has to go into the Pontiac office once a month or so ... I will drop hints for some "sliders" the next time she goes in.

They just keep getting farther and farther away. I buy two crave cases in Pontiac every time I end up driving through.  I refuse to eat the frozen ones, they are not even close.

Two thumbs up on your cousin's vacation Michael.

@ Rich ... I was super bummed when the White Castle in Lansing closed it's doors this last fall, now I can only get my fix outta the freezer section at Meijer just not the same.

Up northers, like me, always appreciate when visitors bring cold beers up.

And some White Castles.

Zan Perron - Ars Amorata philosophy

This group looks like it's more or less dead but I might as well post this here. I'd recommend checking out Zan Perron and his books as an alternative to the run-of-the mill "pickup advice", a lot of which is cheesy and counter-productive and more about creating a "macho parody" than the actual art and philosophy of seduction.(I definitely think a lack of understanding of the psychology and art of attraction and sex appeal is a thing that causes a lot of failure in dating and relationships;…See More
