I still have some comic books from when I was 8 years old, which does include DC.

I have a large collection of EC horror comics that I bought when Tales From The Crypt was on the air, plus I like marvel comics more than DC

Excluding Action Comics, I am generally within 10 issues of completing every DC "legacy" superhero title back to each run's first 15-cent issue.

Marvel, I collect more sporadically. I have the big Bronze Age books - Hulk 181, GS X-Men 1, X-men 94, ASM 129, etc. But Marvel is more a "collect-just-the-runs-that-I-like," as opposed to DC, where I'm a completist.

Lately, my interests have turned to Bronze Age horror. I'm working on high-grade runs of House of Mystery, House of Secrets, The Witching Hour and Ghosts. And I'm a handful of issues away from completing the mid-70s Marvel horror titles. (Gee, guess which issue of Werewolf by Night I'm missing?)

Chaplain Dan, you remember Creepy and Eerie, products of Warren Publishing?  That was the company that published reprints of Will Eisner's The Spirit, one of my all time favorites.  I even have a personalized sketch of the Spirit drawn by Will Eisner in which said character speaks directly to me in a word balloon.

Milo Morris replied to Sir's discussion Is it manly to own a cat?
"I really don't care whether its manly or not. We need a damn cat in this house. Every year the mice come in starting in the fall. A cat would be a better solution than the poison we put around in the basement."

Date Night Ideas

Romance is manly. And every man should know how to plan a great night out for his woman. But, let's face it, sometimes ideas are few and far between. This group is for exchanging ideas about the venerable "Date Night" and other acts of romance.
