Hi all,

I'm a 20 year old, born and raised in NH. I'm currently at undergrad (Jr) at UNH-Durham... good to see some local faces!

Hey guys, just started a Men of New England as a sort of all-encompassing place where we can go and share ideas about where to go, what to do. You're all welcome to join.

Those canoes were impressive! All of our pets we have had (two dogs, a springer and a lab) have gone to Dr. Kauffman from the Brentwood Country Animal office. She is a great vet. Do you know her? I don't know any of the doctors from the referral hospital...
I am looking for a new watch, what would you recommend?

Hi, Allen!
Those canoes were on a park in Australia... they were sweet.
Watches- my wife bought me a sweet Omega Speedmaster Pro (moon mission watch)... it was all downhill from there :)
Brentwood... I know the veterinarians at the referral hospital there; good people.

Hi Richard,
Hello and welcome, Merrimack is a nice town...
Hey great canoes!! Do you design those yourself? As far as the watches, what inspired you to collect them?

Sex Symbols

From the Grammarphobia blog.Q: In a recent radio appearance, you said the idea that “he” can refer to any human being – man or woman – was introduced in the 18th century by a female grammarian. I think you’re wrong. The concept of male as universal has been around much longer.A: If by “male as universal,” you mean using male pronouns (“he,” “him,” and “his”) for women as well as men, the idea did indeed begin in the 18th century. Before then – for two centuries, in fact – it was considered…See More

The death of neck ties?

I heard that according to researches that the neck tie is expected to become obsolete in the next few decades. Because more and more men are dressing more casually these days thanks to Facebook and google where the CEO shows up in jeans and a hoodie. So is the neck tie really becoming obsolete or are men just not caring about his personal appearance? Please feel free to give your taken on this.See More
