Howdy,

I'm a reporter for a small NBC affiliate in South Carolina. I stumbled into this line of work by accident in college, but now that I'm in it I absolutely love it.

I am a Certified Public Accountant and I write about technical matters related to accounting, but I am also very passionate about writing for my blog on goals and dream realization.

Hey guys,

I am a Scout in the US Army and I keep a blog chronicling my adventures through Iraq and the wonders known as the military.

Gentlemen,
I've been in the field of Public Affairs for the U.S. Marine Corps for 18 years and will be assisting with media relations in Afghanistan beginning next week. I was in charge of the media transit desk in Kuwait from July 2007 to January 2008 and have seen history in the making all while trying to assist media representatives and as a combat correspondent. I'll try to update information as far as how to navigate the military public affairs system whenever I can for the next few months. Accessing U.S. military units to cover them can be complicated so I will offer advice, web links, points of contact, phone numbers or whatever else if anyone is interested. Just give me a few days to get re-connected once I get over there.

Raising a Child Without Religion, or Faith

Every two or three blocks on the avenues of downtown Brooklyn, a big old stone church rises from the ranks of the brownstones. A couple of weeks ago, my little boy Felix pulled his trike to the curb and squinted at the steeple of one."What's that castle, Da-da?""It's not a castle, it's a church.""What's a church?""It's a place where people go to worship god.""What's god?""God is a concept some people believe in. A creative force, I guess you'd say.""Huh."And with that, he rode on. I must admit,…See More
