It is difficult to eat well, especially if you're busy.  I've kind of become a cheese addict but working on it.  The Buddhist bowl thing is interesting.  Perhaps you could start a discussion on the practice.

One year as a veggie today, feels pretty good.  Had to start buying some raw meat because our old cat is on a special diet.  It's kind of weird buying and cooking meat.

I went vegetarian about 5 years ago and vegan over 1 year ago. I started out for health reasons, and while that is still important to me I am now far more motivated by ethical and environmental concerns.

It started off as ethical, environmental, and health, but as I went vegan, then back to vegetarian, it's switched to health, environmental, and ethical for me. I don't consider environmental and ethical mutually exclusive though really.

I've been a vegetarian since 2008 I believe. Wool suits, leather shoes, quality accessories, and more keep me from being vegan. And a love for cheeses. Although really, aside from the cheese, my diet is still around 80% vegan.

Hey guys! I have been a vegetarian since the beginning of 2010. I am still a rookie to the lifestyle. I gave up meat for about 4 months last year and liked it a lot. I got back into eating meat and put some weight back on and felt just worse overall. I decided to do it for a year instead of making a new years resolution this year, just to give it a real shot. Liking it so far. Look forward to hearing from some of the more experienced people on here.
