James, great group idea. I too feel that there is a serious lack of patriotism in this country. I live in a small apartment, but try to fly our colors daily (weather permitting), still stand at attention when National Anthem is played.
Looking forward to discussions in here.

Being patriotic to your country is manly... so no it does not matter where you live...

Hello, I was rather curious, stupid though this question may sounds. Does this group apply to patriotism as a whole, or patriots of the United States of America?

Because I am not a citizen of America, nor have I spent much time in the states, aside from a road trip across several states a few summers ago.

I think the repealing of don't ask, don't tell is a good thing as it holds to the ideals this country was founded on. Individual freedom, we should not ask anyone who is brave enough to serve our great country's military, to hide an important part of themselves from the world. They are fighting for our freedom & should be aloud to share in those very same freedoms.

Good morning, gentlemen. I love my country, but I am afraid for its future. I was wondering what is the opinion of dont ask, dont tell and its repeal?

I would have hoped for quite a few more members here as well. But I can't say I'm surprised. Sad. Very sad -- and disturbing.
