Manly Solidarity

Brief description: This is a group dedicated to continue the development of manly skills and spread of manly ideals found in the "30 days to Becoming a Better Man" challenge.

---------

Inspiration: I’m fairly new to AoM and have just finished catching up on the 30 days to Becoming a Better Man.
I really enjoyed the process and am forming this group in order to extend what it did for me, and hopefully all of you.

I know that I’ve always had troubles following through with things when it’s only me who knows about i what I'm trying to do. I assume that others often have the same problem. However, the way that the 30 day challenge made everyone accountable for following through (without going so far as forcing anything on anyone) and gave pretty much unconditional support, would make following through with anything easier. But for people like me who joined after the challenge was over, it required a lot more work. I think that the social aspect of this challenge needs to be extended to every day actions and goals so that we can all grow together.
Purpose and Goals: The idea is that members of this group would all get to have their chance to be Brett McKay. We will let everyone know something that we have been doing which we feel is beneficial to our own manliness and suggest it to the other men of the group. Anyone can freely develop their own challenge for the group and just like the 30 day challenge we will copy, comment on, and support all of the new ideas.

I hope that everyone will enjoy and benefits from this process.

Best wishes,

John

The Barbershop

It's just seems natural that Art of Manliness should have a barbershop group.  My intent of this group is to gather and share general thoughts and experiences concerning barbershops. Anything from a good barbershop that you have found  to pictures and stories of shops you have visited to discussing anything barbershop.  See More
