Looking for some guys to be part of my "Ask the Man" Team ...

Ask The Man (our Mancation idea suggestion feature) has been more successful than I expected but unfortunately I don't have time to be able to respond to all the inquiries that are coming in. So what I want to do is assemble a panel of guys from around the country who want to be part of the response team, suggesting ideas based on the queries that come in.

Interested? email me: james@mantripping.com

Colorado "Dudeventure" Package at Vail

I seem to spend a lot of time in the desert during the summer, but this guys weekend package in Colorado's Rocky Mountains looks like a great way to cool off and have fun!

Grill brats on a private balcony after careening down Vail Pass by bike, plunge down a mountain canyon zipline or just kick back in front of the fireplace – and living room big screen – while sipping a cold one. Antlers at Vail hotel’s new Bikes, Brats and Beer outdoor adventure package, available Aug. 15 – Sept. 30, 2016, knows how to turn Colorado’s late ...

Ways to Prevent Disaster On A Summer Road Trip

So, you're getting ready explore the great American continent this summer and you have dreams of crystal clear mountain streams and long straight desert roads ahead of you. Planning "where to go" is only half the equation though. Unfortunately summer poses all sorts of challenges to consider, but with a little planning you're sure to have a great time and build memories that will last a lifetime.

I love taking road trips. There is nothing quite like exploring this country by car. It's amazing the sights, sounds, and experiences that you can explore but it can also be a ...

2016 Hyundai Plug-In Hybrid Review

Yeah, I'm weird - I like to pair my travels with just the right car. So, when I set off on a road trip to Electric Daisy Carnival, I had to get something electric. Unfortunately, reality set in and the drive from San Diego to Vegas is about 330 miles, far to long to use for an EV without stopping for an hour or two for a recharge. Hyundai had a solution though and offered me their plug-in hybrid Sonata to test out. As I was about to discover, this was the perfect vehicle for our trip as it was ...

50 Years and Still Going Strong at Caesars Palace Las Vegas!

Vegas fascinates me. It is a city that is constantly transforming itself and one that is unabashedly driven by raw capitalism - driven by one goal: to bring people to town who are willing to spend their money. In 1966 when it first opened, the strip wasn't what it was today and this is the property that defined that growth and continues to define what it means to be "Vegas" today. However, for some reason I had never actually stayed there before. Luckily, I was able to check it out recently while I was in town with Smirnoff for the ...

Shredding The Pavement With Onewheel!

I recently got a chance to check out an innovative new product that's a cross between a hoverboard and a skateboard but it's equally fun on pavement as it is on trails out in the woods. Sound fun? Let's check it out!

Traditionally, when thinking of boardsports, one may envision the excitement of the surfer taking advantage of offshore winds catching a slow curling wave at sunset or of the snowboarder cutting first tracks through an untouched glade on a bluebird day following a snowstorm. Conversely, the connotation of the skateboard by the average sport enthusiast may seem to ...

Gentlemen, I specialize in mancations! I have a 46ft sailboat capable of travelling anywhere in the world. My goal is to take groups of up to 5 guys on sailing adventures - some more adventurous than others. Going from Newport RI to Bermuda and on the St. Maarten in early November. This trip is full, but always ready to put togehter the next expedition.

My buddies and I went to Mexico last year for our 'Mancation.' My one friend owns a time share down there. Good times! We toured all the Mayan ruins (Tulum, Coba, Chichen Itza), went to a water park (did some snorkeling), and hung out.

We're thinking about going up to Maine next spring/early summer.

quality site! I'm in the process of planning a trip from the Pocono mountains down to the shore by foot and kayaking. Going to be awesome!

Been planning a 4 day, 3 night canoeing/camping trip in Southern Missouri with all of my friends. It's going to be a great time and it's all thanks to the inspiration from AoM and mantripping.com. Thanks!

Stepdads Support

Just wondering if there are any other stepdads out there? I have questions about what is and isn't acceptable stepdad behavior. I'm the stepdad of two boys ages 8 and 17. Would love some advise and guidance on being a good stepfather. Thanks!See More

Mongoose replied to Ian R.'s discussion Brylcreem and Brylcreem power hold for thick hair?
"The wet look, but not stiff. That is exactly the 1950's greaser hair. Look at what they used.  However... I suspect you are not looking for the wet look, per se, but the shiny look. There are several products on the market which allow for…"

"I have always had a part, right side, and thick hair. Get a very short, over ear off collar, tapered cut. Love the wet look with gel, but would like a less stiff result. Are there some over the counter products you would recommend? Maybe thru online…"

Liam Strain replied to Regular Joe's discussion How To Spot An AoM Noob
"Its current form seems to me more gentle ribbing, than resource. I don't mind it popping back up, but it's not really something to feature, I don't think. "
