I've lived in Kansas coming up on 15 years but nearly all of that has been contained in Wichita, Lawrence and Kansas City. I understand that there is stuff of the turnpike in Kansas, though I've seen…Continue

Frontenac, Kansas represented. I was glad to see the e-mail article about the Navy man from Girard. It was such a shock to see someone from my part of the world!

I went to K-State Salina, which is about 45 minutes west of Manhattan. KSU Salina is the Engineering & aviation campus, and good times were also had while I was there.

Manhattan. Good times. Favorite place to live, short-lived as it was (pun totally intended). Never got up to the Bill, but had a grand ol' time all around campus and Aggieville. Well, more campus than Aggieville. But that's neither here nor there.

@WWHayes: Did you attend K-State Manhattan or Salina?

So I've started a martial arts club...

So me and a group of friends have started an amateur Bartitsu society and we're pretty much teaching ourselves the martial art among elements of other fighting styles. While not ideal we're doing well, perfecting the techniques. I organise the activities and exercises and try to explain the basics of the technique from the instruction book.I was just wondering if anyone else has done something similar to this? If so do you have any tips of running these sort of clubs or interesting stories of…See More
