Hey, I got 'Mingus Ah Um', and it's great! I like it even more than 'A Love Supreme'. So far 'Kind of Blue' is my favorite. I'm working on getting 'Saxophone Colossus'. Thanks for the suggestions and keep them coming. Man, am I glad I got into jazz!

If you all get a chance, check out Doc Gibbs & Picante - Servin’ It Up! Hot! Yes that would be the Doc Gibbs of Emeril Lagasse fame. This album is very smooth, I like the transitions and is a plate full of live funky rhythms that will take you on delicious musical journey that will certainly leave you asking for seconds!

Way to go Rajesh like Brubeck said check out 'Mingus Ah Um' by Charles Mingus and 'Saxophone Colossus' by Sonny Rollins as I have them and they are excellent !!! The world of JAZZ is so diverse and I'm sure you will continue to enjoy exploring all of the great sounds old and new.

'Kind Of Blue' and 'A Love Supreme' is the perfect place to start!

Next, I recommend you buy 'Mingus Ah Um' by Charles Mingus and 'Saxophone Colossus' by Sonny Rollins.

Hey everybody, I've recently gotten into jazz music and I've really come to appreciate it. So far I've gotten two albums: Kind of Blue by Miles Davis and A Love Supreme by John Coltrane. I'm enjoying these two albums, and I hope to add to my collection.
