The long and short of my beginnings as Mr. Mom is that I got canned.  I have no real regrets, as I love staying at home and homeschooling the kids and I honestly believe they are better off for it,…Continue

Hi. I'm a second-time at-home-dad. I'm writing a blog series about it in my AoM blog, if you'd like to hear my story and how it's going from week to week.

Hey, J.A. Welcome to the group. I feel you, man. It's great being home with the kids but I definitely look forward to being back at work. I'm sort of in process of figuring out what I want to do "when I grow up". The music teaching thing wasn't my cup of tea.

I got layed off nearly six months ago and my wife works days. I have a two year old daughter. So basically I went from being an over the road trucker to a stay at home dad overnight. I love spending time with her but looking foreward to going back to work in this crappy economy.

"If you got indoor plumbing, it might not be camping, per se.  That is sort of the equivalent of camping in the back yard."
