Greetings from China.  I am having an interesting trip here (my first).  I am pleased to discover that glasses are very popular here with all the very latest frames being used.

Greeting all,

Long a voyuer of AoM, I recently became a member - call it a mid-career effort to set a new course.  So  I am scanning the groups to determine where to engage.  Apparently my hobbies are few and my time invested in my interests is insignificant.  I can't see how I fit into any of these Groups.  And then I find "Men with glasses".  Here is one place I know I will fit in. I wear glasses.  I have for 35 years.  I wave of peace that comes with belonging comes over me.

"Those were paraphrases of the dictionary definition of the term. The only way they're "kind of like" that nonsense is if you're reading them with the intent to misunderstand or dispute them. JB"
