Has anyone tried Warby Parker for their eyewear? They have some classic styles that I'd love to try out, but I don't want to get suckered by the low price. If anyone has purchased from them, what did…Continue

Greetings from China.  I am having an interesting trip here (my first).  I am pleased to discover that glasses are very popular here with all the very latest frames being used.

Greeting all,

Long a voyuer of AoM, I recently became a member - call it a mid-career effort to set a new course.  So  I am scanning the groups to determine where to engage.  Apparently my hobbies are few and my time invested in my interests is insignificant.  I can't see how I fit into any of these Groups.  And then I find "Men with glasses".  Here is one place I know I will fit in. I wear glasses.  I have for 35 years.  I wave of peace that comes with belonging comes over me.

It fits me perfectly, as if it was tailored for me. I plan to get the sleeves slightly adjusted when I have time to take it to a tailor, but other than that it fits perfectly. I plan to wear it with a black fedora that I have, and obviously with a dress shirt and a tie.…See More

First date: success not optional but mandatory

I have a date tomorrow night with a girl I met online. While this may sound like great news and the answer to lifelong joy, I want to make sure that this leads to a second date, and that I don't make a "death move" to end all chances of seeing her again. This is the early cultivation phase of a relationship, the kind of relationship I have been praying for , that leads to romantic love, marriage and procreation.  All of my experience with the few dating I have has been unsuccessfulSo, at this…See More
