Was out early this morning fishing for coho salmon off the ocean beach on a low tide. Didn't catch anything though- it was my first serious salmon fishing trip. Beach was already fairly busy when I got there (~5:30 am) however action was overall slow-saw only 2 guys with fish. It's still early in the season for them and the fish are expected to pile up near the river mouth in the coming weeks as the water level remains low during the dry summer weather.

Hoping the rain stays away on Saturday. We are planning on hitting the surf for sunrise then take the kayak out into the bay

FINALLY, after working 60-70 hours a week, I get to go fishing for the first time this year. I only caught a small 4-5 pound channel cat, but it was wonderful just to finally be out fishing this year...

"Even if that stat was true, what percent of people with absent or abusive fathers grow up without gender issues? You have to watch out for those confounding variables when discussing statistics"

Kyle Aldridge replied to Bryon Perona's discussion The Masculinity of Jesus in the group Christian Men
"Just reading the title of this post, the first thought that comes to mind?  Why the **** do you care?  Jesus came to bring salvation, not to define masculinity. Refocus your attention, before it's too late."
