Hoping the rain stays away on Saturday. We are planning on hitting the surf for sunrise then take the kayak out into the bay

FINALLY, after working 60-70 hours a week, I get to go fishing for the first time this year. I only caught a small 4-5 pound channel cat, but it was wonderful just to finally be out fishing this year...

Here are two of the three walleye I caught during opener weekend this year. The first one is a 20" fish and the second one is 23".

Both were put back because they were not in the slot limit on the lake I was fishing on. Both fish were caught on lindy rigs with a plain hook and a leech.
