Now Danger's gone? What happened? I hate it when people disappear suddenly. He got mad at me for some reason a couple months ago. I hope that didn't have anything to do with his leaving. I'm going to dedicate this post in his memory. I know it was a favorite of his 'cause he referred to it often. It happens to be one of my favorite movies, too.

Hello all,

My friends run a radio show on 80's pop culture which most revolves around 80's films.

The pod casts are on there. I reviewed 'The Garbage Pail Kids: The Movie' last week (episode 4).

Perhaps some, but not too badly. I supposed it is to be expected when you take a not-that-big-of-a book and turn it into three 2-3 hr movies.

And after everyone has had a chance to but it on DVD/BD, they'll wait a few months before releasing the Extended Version.

Looks like. Even his Amazing Animals thread is gone. His profile's still there though so I'm not sure what's going on.

Went to see WWZ yesterday.  I've got to say, I really liked it.  It was better than I thought it would be, considering all the negative comments I've seen and read leading up to the release.

I read the book a couple of years ago and highly recommend it.  One thing that many people have complained about is that the movie isn't true to the book.

I'll agree with that.  It's very different, told from a different perspective.  It's different enough that if you haven't read the book yet, but were planning to, I'd say go ahead and see the movie.  It's not going to ruin the book for you.  Nor will the book ruin the movie, as long as you don't go in expecting the book.

Does anyone else use YouTube to find and watch old gems that would get very few air time these days .
I watched of mice and men , Burgess Meredith was great . After it was finished I looked through the recommended section and thought I would just watch the Sinise/Malkovich ending , and I have to say I enjoyed the first one .
