Yeah, see, that's not the type of yelling I'm talking about. And I didn't think it was, judging by your first comment.

I'm glad to hear you guys had fun. Funny how hard work feels a lot easier with help, even little help. And the bonding that occurs is beyond value.

Sometimes you have to yell a tad.  Usually and last weekend the phrase was "Watch Out!" when we had to tip the thing over to get at some fasteners at the top of the thing and drop lumber off the top.  Fun was had, along with some sore arms.  (Whole lot of "wrench bending" went on.)

NS - sounds like a bonding time if ever I heard one. So long as it was done in good spirits. (I only include that last part because working on the horse ranch with my father usually involved all those things, and a good deal of yelling.)

Good father and son afternoon last weekend.  Boy got to use Dad's tools, a rotting old outgrown play structure was taken apart and removed from back yard.  Tools, dirt, sweat, hauling heavy objects.

Sorry I haven't been able to get on line before now, but we were dealing with a flooded basement this weekend.

Hope all you daddies had a great Father's Day!
