The one thing you'd like to do with your son
So here's a question. If money, travel, and all were of no concern, what's the one thing you would like to do with your son? Do you think it's possible? Have you done it? Describe or tell, please...

The one thing I would like to do with my son has nothing to do with travel or money. All I want is to be able to teach him how to be a better man the me.

There are so many things I would love to do with him. I want to do everytthing that my father never did, e.g. camping, fishing, hiking and so on. I don't care where just as long as I get to do it.

I like Jason's comment a lot and can totally agree that the ultimate goal is to raise my son to be a better man than me. I would also love to take him on a camping/backpacking trip just us guys and enjoy time together. That's something I know I can do but just need to make it happen.

Nice! From the moment I found out my wife was carrying a son, I've been mentally planning the father/son camping trips with just the two of us and with my brother and his son as well.
Mark, is there any particular place you would like to take him camping? How old is your son?

My son is 10 and I would love to take him to the Shenandoah Valley and camp where I camped when I was a kid. Other than that, just any place where we could just hang and have fun, swim, laugh, sit around a camp fire, whatever.

We used to camp right on the river. I loved it and have told my son about the trees I climbed, swimming in the river, watching the deer along the ridge, the bald eagles that were nesting nearby and waling across the river on the fallen trees that were there. A lot of fond and great memories. A little too far for a trip now seeing how we live in the desert of AZ but it's great to talk about it.

If time and money were no concern? Here's three things I'd like to do from realistic to least realistic.
- Korean Spa -- There's a couple of these spas in Southern California, New York, Dallas, and Las Vegas. It's a very authentic and relaxing experience.
- Warriors Weekend -- I've been wanting to experience the Mankind Project's Warrior weekend for a while now. It would be cool if my dad could experience it with me.
- New Zealand Expedition -- I would love to visit New Zealand. A hiking expedition would be great, especially if we could see some places where The Lord of the Rings was filmed. My dad read the books to me when I was younger. He also used to play Dungeons and Dragons with me. That's why I'd love to visit.
