Hey guys.  Show us how you keep the time!  You could also include what you do for a living if it pertains to why you wear a particular watch.

I'll start off with my casual/work watch.  Most of the time, I wear a Wenger Field watch, but when I'm not wearing that, this is what's on my wrist and I must say, I'm a big fan.

I'm not sure why the pic came out sideways.  Here's a better version.

General use.

I've heard those are pretty solid everyday watches.

How do you like having an automatic watc

I am very happy with it . One thing I learned quickly is that you can't rely on the automatic function to keep it going , I find I have to do a manual wind at least once a week .

Interesting.  I thought they tended to keep going on their own if you wore them daily.

Mine does. There are a lot of factors that can affect that though (length of reserve, spring age, etc.).

Ahh, I see.  From what I've heard, I understand you also have to have automatic watches serviced periodically, like every couple years or so.

Again, I think it varies with watch. If I had a very nice expensive one, I would probably worry about maintenance more (as I would with an expensive car). But it's been about 5 years since I even thought about the Seiko. It's outlasted several other quartz watches that are sitting in my drawer all needing new batteries.

*shrug*

1982 Armitron, baby!

A well worn Seiko 5 automatic. Built like a tank.
